Amazon Rekognition is part of the artificial intelligence services provided by AWS.

You can load images at a push of a button or through the API.

Management of an Amazon Rekognition is automated. This means that Amazon will handle scaling of the application.

The key features of Rekognition are:

  • Object/Scene detection
  • Facial analysis
  • Face comparison
  • Facial recognition
  • Providing confidence score on the processed images.

Amazon Rekognition service is priced based on the type of usage.
